Funny how I seem to struggle against the stronger teams here........

Just as I get used to winning a bit, the losing starts in earnest.'

Grrr.

Watch out Dub. I'm pissed and motivated!

Hard to say that your team struggled. As close as each category was, you could have easily won 7-3.

That has been the story of the first half for my team. It is good enough to compete in any category, but I have a pretty obscene record in cats decided by those slim margins. If it has been close, I have won pretty much all season long.

Either my team is destined to win this year, or the regression is coming soon, just hopefully not this week against Paul. That would be rough.

Great thing about posting this on a message board though is that hopefully someone knows more than I do!!! Any Owners not starting him??

I don't know anything about his situation, but I would say this:

If you need his start to get your innings, then you can't risk it without knowing more.

If you are good on innings, then I think I would go ahead and leave him in unless I had a pretty good option to put in his place. I would be really pissed if Waino pitched a shutout on Sunday while my replacement got rocked.

I had to go check my lineup to make sure I never dropped Heaney. (I get dizzy too Chef)
Relieved to still own him! Welcome to the show!

Also checked out Yahoo...some of the pitchers dropped for Heaney: Beckett, Niese, Estrada. One commenter was asking whether he should drop Kennedy or Keuchel for him.

Heaney Mania is here!

I'm not starting him, but with Strasburg, Kershaw & Tanaka on my roster, I can afford to play it safe. I would have started him if the guy I was facing didn't have 11 starts, I went with the extra relief pitcher and decided hopefully pad my ERA & WHIP.

A League Weekly Review-

Standings:

1. Tlance: 69-30-11
2. Fuzzy: 63- 44- 3
3. Jim: 59-45-6
4. Big D: 53-46-11
5. Treff: 53-51-6
5. Ram: 52-50- 8
7. TKO: 51-53-6
8. Chef: 50-56-4
9. Paul: 47-58-5
9. Sam: 45-56-9
11. Kevin: 40-64-6
12. Dub: 36-65-9

Week 11 Recap:

Paul 9, TKO 1- This one really hurts for TKO, whose team had a rough week, but it is just what the doctor ordered for Paul. Paul moves into a tie for 9th, just 6.5 games back on the final playoff spot. He will look to keep the momentum going in a re-match with Tlance.

Jim 8, Sam 2- Sam needed a Sunday comeback to get his 2. Jim's pitching staff looks untouchable. Jim is now in third place and will look to keep the good times rolling in week 12.

Treff 7, Dub 3- Treff had a really strong week and moved up into a tie for 5th as a result. Dub's squad just can't get it going.

Fuzzy 7, Ram 3- Ram's pitching staff was really rough this week. He did well to score three points. Fuzzy moved into 2nd place and is looking poised to make a run for the top seed.

Tlance 6.5, Big D 3.5- This one had to be the game of the week Two of the top teams squared off, and the battle was just as good as advertised. 3 categories ended in a tie, and 4 more were only separated by 1.

Chef 6, Kevin 4- Kevin takes yet another close loss in this one. Chef's pitching staff carried him to the victory and he now sits in 8th place, just 4 games back of the final playoff spot,

You want names to pronounce, try Mike Foltynewicz and Asher Wojciechowski. :what:
Astros Announcers are going to have fun with these real soon.

Ned Jarrett after an accident: This wreck was caused by the Japanese driver who I will not name drifting up the track.

Tony Gwynn had more games with 4 hits than games with 2 strikeouts!

Why would the Sox call up Cecchini? I really have no clue anymore... maybe Holt will be their full time LF? Assuming they want a sub/platoonish spot for 3B
