I did an experiment with my team... Hope it works... I am Semi Punting HRs and therefore RBIs... The draft did not go off perfectly to what i wanted but i think I am More than solid in the other 8 categories...

#3. I'm a man of my word. ;)

Pretty stoked about my entire pitching staff as well.

Looks like we were on the same page, I took Kershaw at #3 as well. Yu almost fell to me in the second, I settled for Wainwright.

Well, I'm happier with this team than last year's auto Draft team, which I whipped and spurred into a 5th place finish. . So should be good right?
Think I have pretty strong pitching, definitely have some serious speed. . But every other hitting category, especially HR's and RBI's are nearly screwed.

Should be fun and interesting.

Your team sounds similar to mine... But i did that on purpose... Just hope that the lack of HRs and RBIs doesnt kill me...

Well this was my plan B.. And my first pick decided which plan it would be. . Try hard to balance or go pitching heavy and go for speed. . Hoping for best case scenarios with runs and OBP.
When I didn't get one of the top 3 sluggers, and didn't want to reach for a different slugger and got Cutch..I figured that'd be an easier route.

Seems like a lot of people emphasized pitching first this year. I'm a little surprised, I considered pitching to be pretty deep.

You weren't alone. I didn't bother with a starter till the 14th.

I think I finally grabbed one in the 8th or 9th just to have at least one guy resembling an ace. All the pitchers (and relievers!) going early made for some interesting position player choices. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm also wondering why we had such an early rush on relievers...

I had three relievers by the time I settled on Masterson for an "ace." Normally I stay away from starters and outfielders early. Since I broke my outfielder code, I stuck by my starter code and then some.

Scratch that - I took Gio in the 5th. Next SP wasn't until the 11th.

I wanted to take an injured Hamels as my #1, but my connection went out. (For good or bad)Dom Brown was que'd up and my outfield was prematurely complete. Always seems to be that no matter how much planning is made, my drafting method winds up being "roll with it". My "best" starters are probably still waiting for a home on the wire.

Hey, I'm a little disappointed! I turned on Mike and Mike this morning, and there was no coverage of our drafts. Don't they realize they are missing out on the story of the year?

I blame Golic. Damn football guys...

Don't worry, I may take one of ur OFs off ur hands. As long as he keeps his face off of walls.

looking at my team...I think I have steals on lockdown. While unintentional, it could be fun. I normally ignore steals and just let them take care of themselves. My staff and MIs are hurting.
