We've had the debate about Fantrax vs Sleeper. But i absolutely appreciate the Sleeper "alerts" they send to your phone as to whether a player is active or not.

Really could have used that for Tee Higgins yesterday since i was at work. Maybe this is a feature of Fantrax i'm not aware of? Do one of you Fantrax experts knows how to turn on player alerts?

Last week all 4 of us had a better week than the winner of this week will. It somehow was a very bad week for us.

oh I'll be watching but even a safe floor of 5 or 6 for 40 or 50 wont cut it with Lions on the bench

Vikings lost to the Lions once already. If the Lions win tonight and beat the Vikings next week they could lock up the #1 seed.

But the Lions would have the tie breaker over the Vikings if they finish with the same record.

the lions are 5-0 in the division... so they have all the tie breakers... they even own the tie breaker with the eagles...

they are a half game behind only because they havent played an equal amount of games...

but you are forgetting if the Lions win next week vs the vikings, then at worst they would have the same record...

which would be a tie, and the lions own all tie breakers...

i think you are missing it...

this week the lions face the 49ers

next week the lions face the vikings

the vikings are 14-2 right now
the Lions are 13-2

if the lions lose this week they will be 13-3

if the lions beat the vikings next week both teams will be 14-3

Lions own the tie breaker

If the lions beat the 49ers they will be 14-2
the vikings are also 14-2

so whoever wins that game would win the division...

both scenarios are the same...

now... i guess, if the lions and vikings tie, then scenario one(with the lions losing to the 49ers) the vikings would have a better record and win the division...

the eagles being 13-3 is the next obstacle.... but the Lions have the tie breaker with them too... so even if they both end the season at 14-3, Lions have the number one seed...

Short version:

a) they can't clinch tonight even if they win because if they lose to the Vikings next week they lose the division anyway (Vikes would have 15 wins)
b) they can't be eliminated tonight from the division title and #1 seed even if they lose because they can still get it by beating the Vikes (both would have 14 wins and Lions have tiebreakers)

The only reason to try to win tonight is to own the tiebreaker if the Vikes game ends in a tie (14-2-1).
