I'm in a catcher quandary these days, or I might've made an offer to get Yainer back.

Narvaez looking good. BK did well with this one. Yainer is still young. I was willing to pay a premium for Schmidt because I wasn't starting Yainer anyway.

He won't be a catcher next year, but he's showing some promise either way.

Edit: he'll only be a catcher next year. I liked his OF eligibility.

I'm enjoying that with Herrera. He catches like once a week. I'm pretty sure he'll still have catcher eligibility next season, so that was part of the reason I was willing to part with Yainer Diaz. If Herrera doesn't catch enough in 2026, then I'm going to have to figure out catcher for 2027.

Clarke Schmidt is better, but I would've accepted a Holmes trade too. I wasn't worried about the value difference of Yainer Diaz being more valuable than Schmidt or Holmes because Diaz isn't a superstar, I wasn't using him anyway, and I needed a solid starting pitcher.

I'm a big Bazzana fan.

Well, Luzardo has turned it around after two bad starts.

Unless he was going tonight, I haven't checked that out.

Yeah my point was he had a tough opponent, the Cubs, this week, and moreso that his struggles in those 2 starts were kind of a mystery. People were speculating about tipping pitches, no one really seemed to know.
