I am a little slow. That means when it's your turn to pick you have 24 hours, correct?
Right.

so who cares what time the draft starts.

great. Now all 15 are in. Would still be nice to get a 16th. So if anyone knows anyone who would want to join tell me. Otherwise we will start on Wednesday with 15.

if we do get 16. And the 16th member joins in before Wednesday we can start the draft before.

sounds like it’s time for a roster outline.

do points leagues need minimums though? Especially weekly lineups.
True. They don’t need minimums. Just feels weird to make a maximum without a minimum

also thinking of a max and minimum innings pitched
Don't think you need max innings- just minimum innings
Don't like an all reliever lineup scoring more than one with starters.
Maybe we need SP and RP designations.

Problem with designations is that people cheat the system by using starters with reliever eligibility.

with no designations you can have an all starter or an all reliever if you want.

that’s why i am leaning towards having a maximum. Was thinking 70-80 innings.

Is it more beneficial to go...

1. all SP’s
2: all RP’s
3. Or mix it up

New to this for the most part

wont know till we figure out how many and what the scoring is
im against max/min innings cause its already built in by being a weekly league max/min are for daily leagues so u cant just go and get new pitchers every day

if the scoring system is good u cant just try to get all 2 start pitchers for the week

the reason for making use rp is otherwise they arent very useful in a points format

in scoring system we have as of now Cole is projected for 675 points and the 1st rp is hader at 377

I'm with Molsan on this one. We don't really need any Min or Max IPs in a weekly. If you want to force the RP then set the lineup to 6 Ps and 2 RPs.

Yeah I figured SP’s were projected a ton more points. I think designating a certain number of RP spots is the way to go

I do like the RP option but there will be a few SPs with RP eligibility.

I mean, we can make the honor rule for no starters in rp slots. I guess that would get troublesome if abused though.

Maximums are tricky too. Punishment for all your starters lining up for a 2-start week seems counterproductive.

I also think having only “P” would more easily encourage a “no rp” strategy, which leads to the limits question in the first place.

JMO, but if there is a max, there doesn't need to be designations, and you can start whatever you want...

But even with designations, i think there still needs to be a max...

a 70-80 max for 9 pitchers is pretty solid...

70 innings is basically 10 starts of 6 innings and then relief pitcher innings...

so i doubt people will go over unless they are taking advantage of the double start pitchers

either way... i still need to finish the scoring system...

im trying hard to make the 4 different type of pitchers (SP, Closer, Setup man, and primary starter(doesn't start the game but goes 4+ innings)) all at least somewhat valuable...

if anyone has the time today to look at what we have now and give me any pointers to make it better so we dont have to change it during the season or NEED to change anything for Next season...

right now my relief pitching stats are IRS, IR, Saves, Holds and
