its decent... getting rid of burnes is tough... you probably should have got more... but he is off to an awful start and the brewers offense sucks... so I can see it actually getting harder to trade him than easier...

it probably was too much of a panic trade though...

You get cake. Pretty much the same way I thought. I just saw things at the end of last season for Burnes that had me shaking my head. Probably should've held onto him, but I think Jazz will be good if the Marlins don't screw him up with the outfield "experiment".

I'm betting that in the long run, he goes back to 2B or SS. We shall see.

The only way it is a win for me is if Burnes helps me get to a championship. So close the last two years get there, my team falls apart in the semi’s. I can’t get over that hump. If he starts regressing at 28 that would be tough, I think he has a couple good years left but can be anywhere close to what he has been the last couple years…we will see. If Jazz can stay healthy he should be pretty productive for years.

Then he can't even make the squad out of ST. Then comes up and in a week full of games he gets 8 ABs. I don't get it

Only a week away from Tatis being allowed back. We’ll see if the rest of the roster can stay upright til then.
