The craziest one I can remember is Kevin Millwood. He went to Colorado after a career best season. Was one of the best pitchers in baseball. Then went to Colorado and sucked.
I remember Milwood bc he pitched for Cleveland. His best year of his career. He led the AL in ERA yet he was 9-11.

You sure you aren't thinking of Mike Hampton? Went from runner up for a Cy Young (6.7 bWar) and another solid season (4.7 bWar) to a run and a half higher ERA than his career average (0.3 bWar and -1.9 bWar) in Colorado

The interesting argument is now where to put Baez when Meadows comes up, suddenly we have two insanely talented defensive CF.

Did I pick up a gem in Trey Sweeney or is it just because of Coors?
This last week or so has been the best he’s done so far in his short career.

He’s going to lose time when Vierling and Meadows get back and Baez isn’t needed at third and center as much.

He’s really good with the glove. Not so much with the bat.

Neither did he. lol

He’d never played there in his career until last month. Has barely played short this year as he’s been in center and at third mostly.

Yeah, he doesn't look like a CF, but he must have very good instincts.

Baez has always been a good to excellent defender anywhere he has been placed.

His proclivity to chase outside pitches has been his downfall pretty much since covid.

I heard Torres worked with him in ST. Since he knew the Yankees game plan was just to never throw Baez a strike. Lol

Jacob Wilson rules!!

Now that I've said that, I just went through like 3 pages of RP vs. SP.

Milk made the Dummy League to figure out changes for next year, and most people have objected to changes this year.

So how 'bout we let it play out and see what happens for next year?

Oh, and I love polls! :D :D:D
