Just traded Rodon and Corey Seager for Trout and DeJong in my money league. (Points/redraft ... i.e. ytd is Rodon = 145, Trout = 111, Seager = 96, DeJong = 73)

Rodon was my ace and leaves me with a bunch of old guys (some hurt) in my rotation (and Desclafani plus roving 2-start waiver). Wainwright, Bumgarner, Kluber, Price, Archer, Carrasco

Didn’t really “need” Trout, but hit accept anyway.

Yea or nay?

Trout is tough to pass up but that group of pitchers is scary and you have to get through to July with Trout being injured. Long term you could be OK but I think you are going to suffer short term.
I might have had to pass on this one.

yeah... rotation is a mess right now with Kluber going down.

managed to move Belt for Carrasco...but still short term shorted.

Nice deal. Severino could be the ticket down the stretch but my hitters are pitiful right now.

I think the trade was blocked because Severino was on IL and it appeared that I would be over the roster limit. I moved him to bench. How do we get this to process?

nah. Not going to eliminate that rule. To be honest, I like there to be a “protection” measure. Whether the trade was a mistake by the owners that take part in it or if the trade is really that bad.

I think we all have seen some total one sided trades in the past that should not have gone through.

But I do guarantee nothing will be ever rejected by me without agreement by others.

It’s frustrating waiting for approval. If near a lineup deadline, could be trouble. You better be on the minute for Monday trades.

that is all I’ll say because it’s not a big deal...but a lesser deal is just opening it up to us adults.

My team came out of the box hot. Last three weeks have been miserable. beefed up my hitting at the expense of a long term asset. Hope to get some IL guys back and start to compete again.
