Fantasy Impact: So that's been the problem the whole time! He can't see the receiver that he's trying to throw the ball to. I guess it can't make him any worse.... right? If Kaepernick is able to get back in shape and take the starting role, he could have a bounce back season and you can get him for peanuts in fantasy leagues.

As someone with far less than perfect vision who refuses to wear glasses or contacts, I can assure you the contacts won't help his ability on the football field.

Sure, he might be able to read the defender's name from 30 yards away now, but I can't see how better vision will help him throw more accurately or read defenses better. I assume he can see well enough without contacts to spot a 250 pound man wearing the wrong color jersey.
