But I'd say it's a separate, related, but separate nonetheless, discussion than wether he or Monty get the most touches discussion.

An awful lot of convo on our pick. Just remember it's dynasty (and a free league at that). DET made a 1st RD investment in the guy - whether Montgomery gets more carries THIS yr or not, doesn't matter that much, it's long-term that does. Gibbs was clearly the #2 RB on the board, thus why we took him. Time will tell if it turns out that way or not since there could easily be someone in the later rds that excels and makes everyone look dumb - it wouldn't be the first time. We took the shot. ....

Not trying to knock the pick in dynasty what so ever.

When I heard the Lions say that they would have been comfortable taking him at 6 ahead of Bijon, then they clearly have big plans for him.

Those comments kinda frightened me as a Lions fan. I honestly think they just had no plan after Witherspoon was gone at six.
