Bandit speaks words of wisdom. Looking at last year's MBBRL draft (KOTF, not the Barbarians). First Round: 10 of 12 picks were RB. The other 2 were WR. No QB. Second Round: 7 more RB, 4 WR, 1 QB. So after 24 picks, 17 RB were off the board.

I can tell you this. Last year in the B league I had the 5th pick and I got Brees in the 2nd round, so that was pick #19. I know there are some different guys this year that seem to be more quarterback happy, but just FYI for you guys.

Well, like i said, i want brees... But that means i dont want to be the first to take a qb... If Aaron Rodgers went earlier last year, then so would brees...

It really all depends on the draft personality... I need to debate with myself if i want to be the first...

Bandit had a great draft and Barilko had a hideous draft, and both made it to the A League.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

But if you screw up your draft you leave yourself with one fewer way.

True true, but that 12-13 combo just feels so good. You do get 3 of the top 25 picks going #1. And get your top rated guy no matter what, and get to double up too.......I just like the initial wait and double picks. I almost always end up tossing my initial strategy once the draft trends this way or that. My fantasy fantasies, draft wise, just never seem to pan out. (Couple parts held up for me in the Suicide though.)

My condolences to Zep, as I have no doubts he'd have made an excellent addition to the party. And at the same time, a big welcome to Trudem and Obxyankeefan.

It's all good. I appreciate being given the consideration but I also agree that, with what I've read about the whole situation that Tru & Obx deserved it if they could make it work. If you ask my go she would tell you I'm in 6 leagues(I'm in 7 at the moment) too many as it is. I wish you all luck in both leagues this season.

sorry for my delay in responding. I passed out at like 9:30 last night. The wife reently got a job at the same place I work so we are always together...its exhausting lol.
