I think thats another common cop out by Mayweather haters. Floyd is 2 years older than Pac. If Pac was the older fighter then I'd buy that argument. Fact is if Pac would have agreed to drug testing sooner and agreed to a 60-40 purse this fight happens much sooner.

Pac long ago agreed to drug testing and 60-40 purse.

Yeah, Pac has never ever EVER in his career punched anyone as hard as Canelo Alverez has. Manny slightly has one punch power, but mostly scored his KO's via volume punching. Canelo has true and legitimate one punch power, and was like 22 or 23 years old, fast for his size. And he was even big for his size. Put on something like 15 pounds of water weight after weighing in. Plus he was young and hungry and it was his first real major fight. So Mayweather "hand picked" him. He moved up in weight to face a monster nobody else wanted to fight. And he took him apart in one of the best executed fight plans of all time.

Then people wrote that fight off. Oh he was too young. Wasn't a good enough boxer yet. Kept falling for Mayweather's tricks. Too slow. Etc.

Should the Pac fight have been made 3-4 even 5 years ago? Hell yeah. But does any legitimate boxing fan think a guy would be scared to fight Manny but move up in weight to fight a power puncher? It just doesn't make a link of sense.

Okay so with Floyd being the older fighter...meaning he's further away from is prime than the Pacman. What advantage does this fight happening 5 yrs sooner give Pac ? What advantage did he lose?

They're both still close to what they were at their respective primes; however, it seems clear that Pacquiao was better then than now. Floyd was better too back in 2010, and he is, of course, chronologically older, but he is better preserved. Floyd has taken better care of himself. Kudos to him for that. There probably isn't a boxer in the history of the sport who has managed his career better than Floyd has.

Perhaps trying to argue for a rematch. Can't fault him for that. It did seem unnatural and scripted the way he was talking, but some times it's hard to tell with him because English is not his first language.

If it is true what the Pacquiao camp is saying, what a silly snafu they made by not checking the box on the from they turned into the Nevada State Athletic Commission. If I heard everything correctly, he had been taking the anti-inflammatory drug ever since the injury 2 or 3 weeks ago, but he couldn't take it tonight because a box wasn't checked in the form his team had submitted. LOL.

I can't believe that is true. Out of the 17,000 tickets, 16,500 went to handpicked people directly from the casino. We're never on sale to the public.

Only 500 ever went on sale to the public at all. Even if every single one of those went to ticket brokers I can't imagine them having much problem getting rid of them.

But I can't confirm that either.

"But it just ain't panning out -- with one broker blaming the high prices and the fact that tickets only went on sale 10 days before the fight -- and investors are losing their asses.

One company told us they initially bought 80 tickets ... but only moved 20 ... and now they're holding the bag on 60 high-priced stubs.

"It's an embarrassment. We lost a significant amount of money," one broker tells us."

Yeah Floyd is good but if he doesnt pick and choose his fights on his terms hes not undefeated. Hes just one of those people thats really easy to dislike. He has too much unwarranted power in the world of boxing.

It's interesting to ponder how Floyd would've done in an era where champions typically fought 3 or more times a year. Nowadays everything is built around doing one or two big PPV shows each year.
