I am sorry but this is the dumbest most overused trash talk by fans in sports. Trent Dilfee has a championship and Dan Marino doesn't. Timmy smith has a championship and Barry Sanders doesn't. In this case it is even more pointless because you are comparing a role player to one of the elite players on the planet, so it is like saying William Gay can talk shit about football to Barry Sanders because be was on a team that won a championship.

Seriously, that line of reasoning is as tired as.....well the term douche as an insult.


The Timmy smith comparison is prefect because be too was a key to that championship game but is exponentially below Barry Sanders with respect to the player he is.

Relax guys, no one said Talbot had some magic God given right to trash talk OV because he won a Cup. Someone called Talbot a "loser", someone else pointed out that this particular "loser" has won a Cup... and trust me, I remember all too well the role he played. Talbot has proven to be very very clutch in his two SCF appearences.
