Flacco winning Super Bowl MVP was a joke. Jacoby Jones was the MVP for the Ravens that night. The long TD pass he caught on top of the kick return were the 2 biggest plays of the game for the Ravens. They don't win the game without those. I don't remember seeing Flacco on the field throwing a block for Jacoby on the return.

I think we are getting to see just how good both of them are without their outstanding supporting casts this year.
When Matt Ryan just can't lob it up to two #1 receivers, and a HOF TE.
When Joe Flacco don't have the defense to mask his inconsistency and a sure target WR.

Kaepernick is "sucking" overall too this year; Same with Tom Brady. But I don't think people here would agree he isn't any good.

Flacco has been average this year with crappy talent and a ton of injuries. Matt Ryan, once he didn't have his toys, has throws 7 picks in 2 games and has been ATTROCIOUS. Flacco may be a bit chubby this season, but he isn't anywhere near 300 pounds like Matty Romo.

Ryan is better than Flacco despite the last 2 weeks. Ryan has consistently put up better numbers over his career and giving Flacco's defense over the last few years would have won a Super Bowl. Flacco has greatly benefited from the Ravens defense and Ray Rice.

Ryan benefited from Michael Turner early in his career and eventually Roddy White. This year though without White and Jones he has nothing except Gonazalez. The Falcons have no running game with a washed Stephen Jackson. They have a poor offensive line and as I predicted no defense. Ryan is pressing to make plays and failing right now.

Flacco still never has to worry about carrying the offense because he still has Ray Rice. If you put Flacco on the Falcons right now I imagine he does worst than Ryan.

Because he's up there with Kurt Warner & Peyton Manning, & Steve Young for most spoiled QB of all time as far as receiving threats goes. With bad receivers: 7 picks in 2 games. He hasn't just been bad; he's been terrible. Flacco's receivers have been average to bad over his career.
