Giants pitcher Matt Cain to pitch in extended spring training Wednesday

(5/30/15) Giants pitcher Matt Cain is scheduled to throw in extended spring training on Wednesday in Arizona, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Cain, who is currently on the 15-day DL with a forearm injury, was able to face hitters again on Saturday as a part of his rehab.
"Everything felt really good," said Cain to MLB.com. "It felt pretty comfortable."
Cain has not yet pitched this season while recovering from the injury after posting a 2-7 record with a 4.18 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 2014.
"I'm encouraged about how he's throwing the ball right now," manager Bruce Bochy said Saturday. "I thought he threw the ball really well in Milwaukee [his previous pregame session]. He did again today. I know he should be excited to start throwing to hitters and working in situations. ... I think we all are [excited]."
