Who would you rather have in a keeper league??

Using contracts...

Matt Adams is 5 P

Chris Davis is 8 P

where P means I can keep him this season with an expiring contract(cant keep him after this year) for their current price OR I can keep the player for as long as I want, 5 units per year...

So if I want to keep Adams for this year and next year he would cost me 5+(1)*5=10 for this year and next
if I want to keep him for 2 more years then 5 + 2*5=15 for this season and the next 2 years

We have a 260 unit budget in the auction league...

If player is extended, you must keep the player until his expiring season...

Tough. Really hard projecting Adams. For that reason, I'd keep Davis for a year.

Give me Davis as well. .and I'd feel comfortable extending his contact as long as possible

Really, you would extend him?? I think i agree on davis over adams... But the extension i don't think i will do...

Should have mentioned that we start C,C,1B,2B,3B,SS,CI,MI,5OF,DH,9P=23 players with a total of 260 budget

and we have no bench...

Meh..I wouldn't have a huge problem extending him. Not real familiar with your setup, so I would probably differ to you on the extension, you're more familiar with how your league operates, but it's not like he'd be a bad investment.

Not for adderol though... its for a adderol substitute that is less likely to be taken advantage of...

But. . It may give him a mental edge that he's back to normal, even if it's not as potent as the real deal. . We shall see

I am sure it will... But then again, he has to be better than a .195 BA, doesn't he??

Where is he ranked over all? Is 11th too late to reach for him? Or too early? Someone's gonna be smart and I have to be smarter? If he bounces back having him and Abreu on my team filling the 1b and 1b/3b slots is too good to be true.

The other week I noticed he was on free agency. I don't want to draft him round 7 when the draft begins.

I wouldn't think he'll last until the 11th. I would certainly consider him in the 7th, but wouldn't set it in stone either.
