Hoffman had it to -8 after his birdie on #2, but gave it back on #6...so -7 is still the number.

Wind is still pretty strong, even par I think will go a long way for Charlie....Sergio is one of the few in red numbers for the day right now....-2 for the day, -3 for the tourney.

They just revised the ruling on that & Garcia only incurred a bogey on that hole & now back in 2nd place again.

That is a big change. So he hit a provisional, played with his original, and somewhere in there, something happened with that provisional ball.

I think they determine the feature groups before the tourney...in this case...Past champion, Stenson...just never turned into much to watch.

Wasn't surprised to see Hoffman give it all back this round. It looks as though he didn't play bad, just didn't get the putts as he did yesterday. More than likely, the 10-shot cut rule has been established.

He seems to do this just about every year or every other year. He will disappear over the weekend but he will very likely be near the top of the board at the end of the day.
