I heard on Mike and Mike yesterday that Maryland lost around 7-8 sports to the fact that they had to spend a bunch of money to be part of the ACC. They had to pay for some entry fee or whatever. They will be able to get those sports back in the B1G.

Anybody have anything on that? I'm not sure how accurate I remember it and can't really find any sources on it.

Not sure what the specifics of the financial difficulties are.

The ACC hasn't exactly come through on their promises of all this extra cash that was to be generated from football alone. Some of that is Mary's fault for putting out a pretty bad product of the field, but they're certainly not alone in that area of concern.

Personally I wish all this conference alignment would happen all at once. I think it's ruining the sport to an extent. I also wish these new alignments would be more geographically minded. (WVU in the Big 12 is still weird as shit)

Funny thing is, if West Vagina had stayed where they were at they would possibly be an undefeated team right now and in the mix, and more than likely have a Heisman all but locked up.
