There is no reason why we shouldn't be 8-0 heading into Michigan. Being the QB of an undefeated team always puts you in the conversation.........but being a QB who has the ability to bust off Heisman runs AND being on an undefeated team puts you in the top 3.

Amen weak or no defense at all we dont play a scary game till Michigan at Ann arbor. Ucla at home that it till November. Should be at 10-11 win season but 3-4 losses wouldn't surprise me

I don't give 2 shits about recognition. You get recognition when you deserve it. The fans that like the recognition from a member of the media are the same ones that say media members are biased and they don't know what they are talking about.

So losing to UCLA and Northwestern is not a possibility? Just like we were going to stomp on UCLA last year? Or there was no way NW could beat us at home 2 years ago? We're not losing two home games this year.

We're not losing to UCLA twice in a row. We're not losing 2 home games in a row vs Northwestern.

Flying out to Pasadena is a whole different beast. Now they gotta fly halfway across the country to play us.

UCLA has never beaten Nebraska at home I don't think. Never.

Well, beings that we are better than both UCLA and NW, it is perfectly logical for me to say there is no reason we should lose to them.

Nice to see the accolades for both of them. Tito made a big jump in the right direction last year, Abdullah will have some competition to press him even more, versus whiners about playing time.

I think if T-Mart can get his completion rate up to 70% and limits turnovers, he could be close no matter what our record. He has the highlight reel runs, just needs to not make stupid mistakes and more good throws hitting WRs in stride.

The reason I say that is because of how bad our defense could possibly be. If they don't step up T-mart is going to have to put up huge numbers for us to win.

Ok that your opinion Im not worried about the heisman too much but yeah its nice to see neb hasn't be forgotten BC our rep and perception national wise is at all time high. Do i see tmart winning nope easy schedule this year yeah but so do other teams. My 2 cents relax
