Wtf Mayhew is GM not Hurney
He did and I did not realize his first year as GM in Detroit was the 0-16 season. Cannot pin that on Mayhew. I would still like to hear why Mayhew is a "great fit" with this organization. What makes Mayhew a "great fit" as RR indicates? Give the fan some intel so we can atleast have time to process and absolve. Perhaps we can warm up to the new internal infrastructure since RR & Co really don't realize what this fan base has endured the past 20+ years.![]()

Well to his credit, he did play on that 1991 team that won the SB here and he knows the value in having a great offensive line and a stout defensive front. Although he hasn't yet reproduced those standards elsewhere, perhaps his return to D.C. will refresh his memory about what it took for that team to dominate and he'll set his sights on replicating those things here.He did and I did not realize his first year as GM in Detroit was the 0-16 season.
