Marty a cancer? Im not sure I can agree with that... I think it would be good for St Louis. very good if Elliot is still Brian Elliott come playoff time
Actually, I think it's pretty good - Now we can refer to the Blues goaltending contingent as Jake and the Fat Man plus Elliott.
Thoughts on this?
I don't like it. Better options available and he seemed like a cancer last year
That seems like an opinion with no fact behind it. Marty, Cory, DeBoer and everyone covering the team all said he handled a tough situation with class. Seems like the only cancer is haters gotta hate.
Haters? Constantly speaking out against coachea and management about his playing time lol. What do you think they are going to say about Marty in NJ? Haters gonna hate doe I guess.
Marty shouldn't be in the league at this point.
I agree. I thought he said he wanted to spend more time with family?
I have nothing but respect for MartyHaters? Constantly speaking out against coachea and management about his playing time lol. What do you think they are going to say about Marty in NJ? Haters gonna hate doe I guess.

People were saying the same thing a few years back when he led the team to the finals. Could have very easily won another cup aside from some debatable calls and solid goalsJust don't think he's good anymore ... Better goalies available.
I don't like it for sentimental reasons. I miss the one team only guys.
Marty Brodeur is a legend & 1st ballot Hall of Famer. He's also 63rd in save % over the last 3 seasons (.901), just ahead of Joey MacDonald.
as a band-aid for 3 weeks until elliot is back?
meh, why not.

That still bugs me - I don't know what bothered me more, the fact that Rice asked for #80 or the fact that the Seahawks took Largent's retired number and gave it to Rice.
