"I ain't never seen no talking winning nothing. Been like that since I was little."
Well, as far as football goes, he's right, isn't he? On the other hand, he may not be cut out for a career in sales, law or politics, for example.
A lot of Politicians maybe idiots and slimeballs, but they all have one thing in common.
The gift of gab.
Lynch does not, apparently and that's ok. He's a football player.
Not sure about that. How many times did George W. Bush stick his foot in his mouth? Or Joe Biden? Even President Obama is lost without his teleprompter.
Hmnn. Didn`t really expect that reaction from a couple posters.. When you get chance can you give me the dimensions of the pedestal you built for yourself? Just curious how high it is. Don`t forget this is just a football game and the participents are actually human beings just like us.
Yeah I should of been more specific. Not any posters here ( great group imo) but on many other general boards, etc football related. Posts here are way tame compared to many others. Just was floored by how his ( lynchs) lack of verbal expertise if you will, drew out so much hate and vulgar animosity at the dude. Just figured some of you saw/read that and might of had opinion on that also. My apologies if post was mis-interpreted here. I will say though I sure would love to see a couple nice "sticks" for losses and maybe a forced fumble to boot by the Denver D on Mr. Lynch during game for sure!!Not sure which posters this is directed at, but I didn't mean to belittle Lynch. He is obviously an outstanding RB. When I wrote that he might not be cut out for certain careers, I was simply being a little flippant in noting that, while talking has nothing to do with winning in football, in some jobs "winning" seems to have quite a bit to do with what one says.
Seems a bit out of line to attack Lynch because he doesn't care to talk to the media much he might have developed a fear of speaking in public etc
Also he has a degree from Berkeley so may well be smarter than most of us.
