can't even begin to imagine the outfield with upton and another reject signing in inchiro

i expected some nice results from byrd this year.. and he was impressive in ST. laying off everything outside the zone, pounding pitches in it. since the season started though, he's basically whiffing right through everything or making weak contact. he has like 20? k's already.

hope he turns that shit around.

Byrd is not going to hit 25-30 home runs. He going to exceed his career high from last season. What we can hope for is a decent average and OBP with 15-20 home runs.

Most likely his production will be closer to his 2011 season.

Quick? You're just not a gambler. The wheel won't spin the same way each time. Maybe it's time for two solid years in a row. Who knows? Things happen. He's a slow starter but gets hot the more he sweats: .267 is his 2014 slow start.
