May lose our bait trying to land big fish.
Activity has gotten slow. Good to see ya tonight Meanwhile Stanton is here.lolGoing solo there, DT?
Thought everyone would be here just to see him.Activity has gotten slow. Good to see ya tonight Meanwhile Stanton is here.lol
Tired of winning! They'll drag in later
Hard to think about keeping him.To quote myself, I'm so done with Perez.
Hard to think about keeping him.
Good point but he seems to have but one level.Disagree with both of ya. Sorry.
Pitching is by far THE hardest thing to draft, coach, or have at all levels. Pitchers come and go over a 2/3 year span sometimes, but those 2/3 are MAGIC.
Perez is relatively cheap, young and has upside.
To me, you just can't have too many guys in the pipeline, at all levels, capable of doing same.
Good point but he seems to have but one level.
I see him kinda like Derek Holland. Keep thinking he will bust out. But like I said, you make some good points. If we are rebuilding, pitching is first priority. If Yu goes, Cole, Martin.Cash, AJ and Ross looks a little dim to me.Perhaps his "level" isn't as bad as you may think. He's only 26 and he's K'ed more than 150 than he's walked (frankly, I'd lost a beer bet on that one) in his career. His W to L ratio is right at 1-1 over 6 years.
How many times have we brought up, "somebodies gotta take the ball every 5 days"?
Let's not forget, a solid #4 is important and it's not like he should be held accountable b/c the team doesn't have a solid #3. He's doing the best he can, and it seems to me, at least to an extent, he's not getting the support sometimes he should.
Tired of winning!![]()
You know that if we stand pat and push for the playoffs that we need to win and win big. Win so much that the guys will be tired of winning, but JD will tell them no and that they must keep winning.
Didn't take Stanton long to introduce himself to Perez.
