the clips for his newest movie do nothing to sell me on his acting. sounds like the same guy he was in the departed, ted, boogie nights, etc.

The Basketball Diaries was a good movie. I couldn't stop laughing at them, when they were all doped up playing a basketball game.

I think it's a matter of overexposure. I like him, but at the same time he puts out a ton of duds. As stated though he's had some solid roles. He was an absolute creep in Fear.
