Starting to have that typical Mariners feeling to it after this series. It’s as if the baseball gods saw that this team was doing well and says “not so fast”

As the avatar suggests, I went to Seattle Pilot games.
Became a Brewer fan for years.
Neither team has EVER won ANYTHING. The '82 WS against the StL Cardinals was as close as I ever got.

I still have HOPE for this team.

Great game. Very tiring though. Gotta be up at 5am tomorrow but I'm determined to see this one through.

Happy to see Servais show some emotion and stick up for his players though. I think he might've been wrong, but either way it's nice to see that out of him.

Although I must add that I don't think that Diaz would've dropped that ball if he wasn't contacted.

I didn't see much contact either. Looked like Diaz might have dropped it on his own. If I was a Rangers fan watching that replay, I would have questioned how could they call interference.

Yeah, Mariners broadcast booth was pushing saying that there was contact, but I think Diaz just dropped the ball.

Good baserunning by the Rangers though. This game wouldn't be in extra innings if Healy didn't botch that ball.

I really LIKE Healy, but yes, that bobble cost them, but he could have whiffed, that would have been worse.

The baserunner hip hit Diaz's hip causing him to drop the ball, I dont have the replay but thats what I saw on the replay they showed.

However if Healy doesnt bobble or if Diaz gets to 1st quicker it doesnt matter

You might be right. As much as I love to complain about a bad call, I didn't see much contact (if any) there.
