Yep, and as long as we win it'll be 6 behind Texas with a max of 2 out for both WC spots. We have a lot to gain in the next couple of weeks, shoot we could be in a playoff spot by the weekend. Love it!

Baltimore seems like they have a tough road ahead of them... Tigers and Mariners have the easiest schedule on paper with a large amount of teams under .500...

I love it how the east is our biggest roadblock and they have to beat each other up for playoff spots. Can't be giving up games like Tuesday, but as long as we keep winning series we'll be ok.

Well... Houston isn't helping so far. The O's are pounding them 7-2 thru 4 innings.

Last night out pitching staff allowed 17 baserunners but held the Angels to 4 runs. We got a win we probably didn't deserve, so this should balance the Tuesday night game that we deserved to win but let slip away.

Shoemaker has a wicked pisser split, and when it is on he really racks up the strikeouts. Hopefully Iwakuma can match him.

Unfortunately Baltimore plays very well at home and Houston not so much on the road, so the Astros probably won't be much help for the M's in this series.

Yeah, looks like the M's are gonna split with the Angels. Pretty disappointing result for the series IMO.

M's have played about as well as humanly possible since the AS break.

Unrealistic to expect an extremely non-streaky team (even when we were doing well in the early season) to have many long winning streaks...at least, enough to compensate for a completely disastrous June.

5 over .500 would be a great result for this team. Anything else is bonus.

Would have been great to get 3 of 4, but still in the hunt and now back at home. Hopefully less Aoki this weekend.

They have played well overall since the break yea but I don't think they played that well this series. A split is disappointing but also I feel they were fortunate to get it. Hopefully the offense can get clicking against some scrubs this weekend. Walker pitched well last night and we should get Paxton, Cishek and Zych back shortly. Hopefully the days of spot starters is ending soon
