Hey France, if you hear a knock on your door don't answer it. Somebody is coming for you.

2 hits for Tyler Locklear in his Triple-A debut.

I don't think he will be a great player I think he will be a serviceable 1st baseman. If a player is doing well in AA and the organization thought highly of them they would normally call him up to the majors straight from AA and in this case call up Tyler to get him some time at DH.

No. They don't have room for him right now is why he wasn't called straight up. They are not going to DFA France, Haniger or Garver right now. Timing is everything.

What you say is true. However I believe if he was talented or a top 50 prospect they would have found a way to get him to the majors and get him at bats. Yes I will agree given how good the team is there is no need to DFA anyone and just keep him in AAA ready to be called to the majors in case of injury.

I don't think he is an MLB Top 50. Or Top100. But the bar is set low in Seattle so he doesn't need to be. I don't even know if he is better than France, Garver or Haniger. I do know he would be different and sometimes different becomes better when the same thing is gawd awful year after year. I think the All-Star break is a better time to evaluate. Hopefully there is no need to make changes because things are clicking, but I am not betting on that.

Geez Lazaro Montes is a monster he needs to be promoted to A+ because he is putting up video game numbers right now in Modesto. I am telling everyone right now he is going to be a superstar for the Mariners.

This is the guy we talked about in Spring training. He and the 3B (Williams I believe) were my two prospects to watch. I know you were also in on Lazaro back then as well. I am just glad his production mismatching his ability. My worst nightmare is they pull a David Ortiz and trade him for a rental.

Felnin Celesten pinch hit for in the 6th. No streaming of this game so no idea the reason.

I’m pretty sure Jerry in spring said he wanted to keep the Modesto crew together and move them up as close together as possible. No idea whether that is a smart move or but pretty the Astros and Braves did basically the same thing with keeping their core together in the minors.
