Will be nuts if the Mariners have 4 top 100 SS’s with Young, Emerson, Celestin and Peete. Just praying hardcore they choose the right two.

I like to keep an eye on..

Cal.poly...
Cal state Fullerton..
UCLA..
Stanford .
San Diego state .

There are..more but those are.basic...

Keeping..an eye on long beach.state.would be good..
For portal guys....pitching.
Still..is a need..there .
and Long.Beach..can.come..up.with some guys..
Like a couple transfers to Oklahoma.

Oh come on now. Jerry is a tool but they should at least get a huge rental like an Alonso or something. You know I love Woody and think he is the best GM they have ever had but one of these dudes for a scrub is a move he would’ve done cause he was “trying for it”

You love Woody and I will stick with Gillick.

I will always believe Woody was the best just based on he is the only GM that tried to win a championship even though Howard and Chuck put much harsher conditions on him than Jerry. Yeah, it didn’t work out like he had hoped but Gillick being a dbag ran Pinella out of town.

IMO Gillick is the baseball version of Bill Polien. A GM who is good but also massively lucky and opportunistic.

I know I won’t change your mind but the two have the same amount of banners and Woody had way better draft picks and left the organization loaded. While we had the Varitek/Lowe, Cruz, Omar and Tino trade, he also traded for Randy, Dan Wilson and got a great package for Randy and Junior along with convincing Lou to come. Gillick left the roster old and ready for a collapse.
