40 HRs 113 RBIs 21/22 SBs in his last 147 games, pretty impressive.
I'm sure we can ruin him soon.
The thing to keep in mind with O'neill is he is still super young. O'neill is showing a ton of potential. I haven't had a chance to watch him that much just some highlights here and there and a handful of AB's but he appears to me to be extremely gifted with his physical hitting ability but still has work to do with his approach/ discipline. O'neill has been a pleasant surprise me so far in his minor league career.Main concern with Blash and O'Neill is that they're both high K, low BA, high HR type guys. How many of those guys can carry that over to the majors?
Also, I'd rather not have a lineup full of Mark Trumbos. At least with Blash, his walk rate and OBP is higher. 16 HR over 45 games sure isn't anything to scuff at though. That would be close to 60 over a 162 game span.
What is it with Jack and these type of players?
O'Neill just hit a monster homer.... #28.... He looks like he is on roids.
No kidding!Good, we need more of that. Maybe once he makes it to the majors he can get the rest of the roster on it.
When Tyler O'Neill makes it to the M's the most likely thing to happen will be home run in first major league AB.... Then he will go 0 for his next 57 with 48 K's. He gets sent back to Tacoma where he goes 17-25 with 10 homers... Gets called back up and the same cycle repeats itself.
That's what we should expect right?
