Honestly I think it is great that we went pitcher heavy in this draft we currently have like 8 hitters in the farm systems that the Mariners are trying to develop and literally almost no pitchers. We went pitcher heavy a few drafts back which is why we have a good rotation now. When we finally start promoting hitters to the majors we can see how well management has done developing them. There was promise with Kyle Lewis and Evan White but injuries took their careers away from them.

But that..2nd injury got him
