My thoughts exactly... I would be more onboard if it was an Ohtani gimmick but throwing from both sides doesn't seem sustainable...Glad they went pitcher but it seems like a weird gimmick to have. Can’t imagine that is going to work in the pro’s.
So if he has to get Tommy John he can still pitch with the other arm?

I guess we shall see it just seems that with a MLB workload (or just pro ball in general) his body would break down if he stays a starter. So, MLB starter stuff from the right and bullpen stuff from the left.
Sounds like he has potential more than the gimmick angle of going both sides.
But it's a long way to the majors.
