I would give Felix the pitchers spot for hitting a grand slam.We had some fun with this thread last year so I thought I would bump it up and watch Cal's race to 30 homeruns. He went to Dongtown again today which matches with last season's total, at 27. Last year he had 23 on September 8th and hit four more the rest of the way. I think it is reasonable to assume he reaches 30 this year.
And it made me think of something else. I wonder what the all-time single-season homerun leaders are for the Mariners at each position?
Although I don't know the exact numbers, some of the names are easy enough to guess.
Catcher - Raliegh
1B - Sexson?
2B - Boonedoggy
SS - Arod
3B - Seager?
Left Field - no idea
CF - Junior
RF - Bone
Pitcher - Anyone have more than one?
DH - Edgar
