Well that's 2 things the Saints are not. They do have a ring and they're certainly not young. If Ryan doesn't have one by the time he's 53 like Brees then I'm sure he will feel awful

I believe the correct answer would be Brady, Ben and Eli.

The point is in the Drew Brees era, nobody in the south has a ring other than him. So yes it is a big deal since the saints have been relegated to maintaining the war in the division when Brees is already defeated in the war against Brady, Manning, and Rodgers(lack of playoff consistency). Further, Atlanta started this SB campaign with Mike Smith in retaliation to the saints winning the sb. Ever since that point they took advantage of every weak season the saints endured until 2013 to try to catapult themselves ahead of them(2010 and 2012). If they had won the sb, they would have been as classless as possible(as evidenced by making fun of Gleason in 2013 offseason and throwing eggs at saints tour bus before 2012 TNF game) and act like Ryan would have caught Brees(who still had more yards last season) and will top him. That's why they didn't win because no such thing was meant to be. Sometimes it's best to wait your turn instead of trying to tear someone else down who deserved their spot. Carolina tried it in 2014 too and failed. The saints trash talk too but they do it with class and cleverness(like the young and the ringless event and they were generous not to play the theme music).
