You are prob right about that unless an SEC slips back in. Manziel is also getting more attention and exposure bc he in SEC and Mariotta is out on west coast playing the 1st half of games impressively yet quietly

I'm not sure if throwing 6 TD passes last Saturday is "quiet".

Maybe he will get more props after the throws 7 TD's against Stanford on Gameday.

Manziel blows his ass out the water, whilst having played LSU, UF, and Alabama. He may have lost to two of them, but his team still played them, and he still owns Mariota.

What's the best defense Mariota has faced? Arizona st.?....USC?....maybe Arizona?...I really have no clue. Mariota hasn't face ONE single defense that comes close to being in the same ballpark with the THREE that Manziel has faced.

And I don't care that Manziel didn't perform great against LSU or UF, he was able to perform well enough to be owning every other QB in CFB.

You might think I'm sucking his nuts, but I can't help it. It's so overwhelmingly in his favor, it's not even funny.

And nobody gives a shit about 6 td's vs Cal...they just don't..sorry.

Do you know that Mariota has FIVE games this season where he DID NOT reach 200 passing yards...

And maybe that's because of his running backs or coming out early due to blowout, I don't know, and really doesn't matter.

Mariota also has Barner and DAT in the backfield with him, so that has to take some of the eyes off.

I don't know how else to say it, it's just not even close at all.

He's not getting credit for losses, he's getting credit for having played those teams.

When you play better defenses, it's common sense that your numbers will likely be lower than normal. I'm just saying he played those 3 teams, he performed worse than normal in two cases, yet still has much better numbers than other QB's who haven't faced defenses in the same universe even once, not to mention 3 times.

You could say he pads his stats against lesser teams, but then I could say Mariota plays nothing but "Lesser teams"...so it works out.
