I am not asking your opinion on what you believe the Bears SHOULD do with Jay and/or Brandon. But what do you believe they will do?

My gut says Jay is absolutely here for at least the 2015 season. I don't see a team being desperate enough to take him on with that huge contract, no matter what the QB situation is like for some teams out there. Brandon, I think between him and Jay that it's more likely he would be dealt away, as he still has value. Will he? Eh… I really don't know. Apart of me thinks so. The way Brandon talks about his future, he seems like a guy on his way out. It's a tough situation to read though.

There's also been talks on this board of Forte being dealt. Is that a possibility? I don't see it. I wouldn't particularly mind it depending on the compensation, but I just don't see it…

What do you think? Before March 12th, will any big moves be made?

There has not been one word of support for Cutler coming from this staff, not one. I believe they are trying hard to get rid of him. My gut says someone will bite and Cutler is gone. One thing seems certain, Cutler is not wanted by this staff.

If they dont keep Jay and Brandon look for another year of less than mediocrity, and back to qb hell. Even if Fangio gets his defense playing up to a par it will he all for nothing if they don't have those 2. The best thing they can do is keep both.

It will happen before the 10th when free agency starts. I cant imagine any free agents, like a speed receiver is gonna want to be here if they are not keeping Jay. Speed receivers are following the big arm.

cutler I believe I believe most likely will be here............But as you all know,I`d rather see ryan leaf here than him.
and I`m like Joe,I really believe he is not wanted here.........The last I remember someone posted here was about the coaching staff`s unsureness of Jay of Jay staying here.

That's a good sign................But not for Jay. :D

As fas as BM,he needs to stay, but I`ve never looked to see what the consequences were if he stayed vs. going.I really like BM,but if we need to save some money somewhere and theres a wr to be had in freeagency that is of equal value of BM`s and will cost a little less,I`m guessing that maybe the route we go.
Cause I definetley do not think wr would be ou first pick.........That would be just asinine.

I think will try and be willing to part with them (and a few others....Jared Allen anyone?), but I don't think anything will happen. I think they will all still be here.

If I had to bet on the Bears moving one of them, my gut is going with Marshall.

There's a report out of Halas Hall that the new regime has brought in Ron Turner, Mike Martz, Mike Tice and Aaron Kromer to talk to them about Cutler. They are either really doing some deep exploration of "should we or shouldn't we", or they are just getting the best advice they can on how to deal with him because they may have decided to stick with him.

Now theres some thought being put into it.
I would have to think its cause they wanna keep him.
If they really wanted to cut/trade him or whatever, they`d just do it.......from what you just said,it sounds to me they wanna try to fix what they think is wrong with him

And that's defenitley a huge meeting of the minds.........sounds cray.

Jay stays...Brandon Goes. That's my feeling.
I read just about everything I can about the bears and the grand conclusion about Jay Cutler is simply, "we are still learning about him" That's it. There has been NO word either YES or NO on his status... Some of you want to read into that and say- "They don't want him."
No it doesn't... it just means they are learning about him.
They are also learning about alternatives QB options. And I'm assuming learning there aren't any.
They are also looking at film and studying his misses and hits. (don't forget the hits) and full game issues. (why so many passes, why down by 35, why no running game, why did they kick a FG on 2nd down, why NOT go for it before the half in stead of just running the ball- oh wait we got a big play on something that wasn't supposed to be a big play and then decide to go for it before the half after we wasted a lot of time. Look at all those injuries... Look at how shitty that defense is... look at that PI non-call on that INT, why did they call that play?.... See learning stuff.

Marshall had been a pretty big Bears cheerleader in past off seasons. This year nothing.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Coaches react differently from fans.
This offense was top 3 just 2 years ago. Was 16th last year. It's not as broke as the defense.
Cutler -someone mentioned a lack of support by the new staff. Fair enough. But there are not many better options to consider. New staff would realize it would be a step backwards on offense too.
Marshall - numbers/stats may dictate that he remains. All WR are divas. But only a handful are as consistent as Marshall. Ditto on taking a step backwards if they dump him.
Forte - shouldn't even be a question. He stays.

Really? Lol… It's "certain?"???

Come on, there has not one word against him by the staff either. Unless you know John Fox on a personal basis, give me a friggin' break man. Jeez.

Seems a tad silly, if it is indeed to get advice to help them on the decision of whether or not to stick with Cutler.

There isn't a single thing that people love to do more after they fail, than to blame someone else. In this case, the best target is Jay Cutler.

I cannot possibly think of four people that would have a more bias opinion when it comes to Jay Cutler, than those four coaches named. I can't think of four people more UNQUALIFIED to give a FAIR evaluation of what it's like to work with Jay.

I really don't care one way or another what we do with Jay. He's more than likely the best short term option, so if he stays… fine. If someone wants to take his contract on, GREAT. But it's pretty mind blowing to me that the new management would bring in the four previous coordinators who were run out of town to help make this decision.

Lighten up man, I can only make a guess same as you or any fan. I have seen no support for our much beleaguered QB from this staff, have you? The first thing you would expect is a vote of confidence for your QB from a new staff. Jay may be here because of no other options but that would be the only reason. BM is a stud and going nowhere unless we get a good trade offer.

I simply can't believe this... It's criminally comical.
All these past coaches were run out of Chicago based on MANY things. And I'm just certain that when they were launched... NOT a single Bears fans clamored for their return. When every OC that has gone it was celebrated and cheered when we learned of their firing. *not to mention many, many posts of their stupidity throughout the seasons.
And yet now... Some fan's (and media) are using those same OC's alleged bad-mouthing of Jay is some kind of proof that he's the problem? That's just sad and ridiculous.
