“T dog” was awful. His second year of play calling was probably the worst year of offensive play calling I have ever seen in my life. And that’s saying something. Who the fuck runs Alshon Jeffery on an end around twice a game? Defenses knew what play was coming before the snap.

Trestman was horrendous. I still remember this one game where we were down and the other team had the ball and Trestman refused to call timeouts. It was absolutely bizarre. Then miraculously we forced a fumble (or an INT) and won anyway which hid the idiocy of Trestman. Maybe it was Dick Jauron? Either way both were horrible.

Set Tucker on fire. T dog was a average Bears coach but Tucker was a all time worst.

Couldn't disagree more. As mentioned, Trestman's game planning and play calling in 2014 was the worst I have seen at the NFL level. There was actually talent on that offense - but you would NEVER have known it.

Even if that was not the case... the locker room turning into a complete circus show is on the HC. I've never, ever witnessed a locker room blow up like that. The guy had no f'ing clue how to handle it. The most disconnected guy ever.

Tucker was not good. Zero doubt. However, his D also suffered an unprecedented barrage of injuries in both of those seasons.

Tucker was simply a bad coordinator. Trestman was the captain of a ship that sunk in an embarrassing an inexcusable fashion. My least favorite Bears team of all-time. 2014 Bears were simply hateable on every level. They didn't give a shit, they were selfish, they fought with each other... when the going got tough - they quit. That's on Trestman.

I agree T dog was bad. But I think Tucker may be the worst all time.

Pretty sure that never happened in 2013 or 2014. We could have used it... but unfortunately Trestman's errors typically led to really painful losses. As opposed to lucky wins. Must have been a Jauron game.

The dumbest thing Trestman ever did was lineup Robbie Gould in OT from 47 yards away. To try a GW field goal on 2nd down. When Minny's D was absolutely exhausted and Forte was running entirely at will.

Nah... 47 yards is fine. Why would we want to get closer?
