I hate to bring politics up in here but we see more and more things like this everyday, at sporting events, malls, schools, etc.

If you do not carry or own a gun I urge that you seriously consider it. Not just to protect yourself but to protect your loved ones.

Buy a gun, LEARN GUN SAFETY AND HOW TO USE IT, take a gun class or 2, be responsible, learn your local laws and if you feel comfortable with it carry it with you everywhere you legally can. If you do not feel comfortable carrying a gun then leave it in your house for home defense but always be aware of where it is and the fact that you you may one day have to use it. Hopefully you never do but it is better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.

Guns do not kill people, people kill people. Gun control does not work. You cannot rely on your local PD to protect you at all times. You must be able to defend yourself if you are forced into that situation.
