Malik Starter Next Year

I hope he starts next year or if Kelly is going to go with Golson have a very short leash on him. Like more then 1 Int in the 1st game switch.

Malik just looks better in this offense.

Zaire looked much more comfortable in the pocket than Golson.

Also seems to make decisions much quicker. There were some balls he threw that had a lot of zip on them, I liked it. He's also not afraid to keep the ball and run on the reads.

I just think overall, he looks much more comfortable than Golson. Too many times it looks like Golson is forcing things and/or very confused, flustered.

It's a very small sample size, he should start the bowl game as well. Golson if he returns needs to be at a different position RB maybe or WR he isn't a good QB that is obvious.

It really doesn't matter he should have been on the bench after the ASU game.

Yeah talk is that he MAY start, but Kelly hasn't come out and named a starter. He's got some time to decide in that.

yes he has some time. I think he will let it play out during practice for the bowl game. I would give him the start or at least split the series in the game with Golson.


Its time to look at the future and Malik might be the answer. Kelly knows next year is a big year and needs to have a good year.

I would start Malik for the bowl game. He has 3 years left of eligibility left and would suck to burn another year with him not being the starter. Golson has proven he isn't comfortable being the QB. Have to win next year and need a confident leader.
