Mississippi State got themselves one hell of a scorer. He should step in and make a difference right away. I wouldn't be surprised if he's only there for one or two years. The new coach had better take advantage of this quickly by being successful in his first year. That will make it easier for him to go after other top notch recruits. If not, Mississippi State will find themselves in the same losing boat they have been in for the last few years.
