I mean, I am all about a player believing and being confident in this team, but I think sometimes you gotta keep these predictions to yourself.

With all that talent they should be. Malik talked big last year too. Jax is Arizona of AFC loads of talent no rings.

I dunno about that. Arizona has been pretty darn good lately while Jax has not been good. Cardinals historically sucked before the Warner era, but I wouldn't say those teams prior had loads of talent. I don't like the comparison just saying . Cardinals current teams is better and gets to the playoffs. (In recent years, not counting last)

Obviously no player is going to say during an interview, "I think we have a real chance to go 7-9 and almost break even this year" so I can't fault him for saying this. They all expect to win. The reason I wouldn't completely discount the Jags is because I think the AFC South is a weak division. Obviously I picked the Titans to win this division and a lot of people have made similar predictions. But obviously that's just a guess and people are wrong about these things all the time. The Jags do have a pretty talented roster but the pieces just haven't come together. If the Titans don't live up to expectations and the pieces do come together for the Jags they may just be able to reach the playoffs. Win the Super Bowl? Doubtful, but until they're out entirely, I suppose any player is going to say things like what Jackson said.
