Sure as heck is!!! Never had the pleasure of playing but always wanted too.
Sadly I don't... I have only seen where we can "request" information.. I am not gonna do it since i know it;s like 100-150 bucks a round so a place like that the membership has to be very high
Seriously you know what? What I need to do is avoid practice! Not literally but I've played for 30 years now. All I really need to do is trust. I've been hitting a 90yd wedge shot on my property every day and I'm dropping them on the flagstick like pills. Wedges and putting is 95% of golf. I need to not get too psycho with hitting the range. I'm more inclined to get benefit from some drills.
That place is amazing.
Again, my new course is not spectacular like that but it's very nicely appointed and groomed and all for $2200.00. That's pretty reasonable for 6 months of a quality experience. They also waived the initiation fee this year for locals.
30 years.. nice.... No more practice. Just trust yourself. which is so much easier said then done.. damn this is a fickle game!
No matter where you hit it, the entire game comes down to 4 ft putts. Imagine your scoring if you never again missed a 4 footer.
very impressive. I'd take that for sure. I think I could get away with paying that I think but I shouldn't since I have a 10 games season tickets to the Red Sox so that's my money
Cool do you attend all of them or sell a few?
I miss 4 footers all the time.... However.. It usually has taken me 2 strokes to get 4feet away, lol
Lol...like I say though, imagine the pressure that would take off of your entire game. Drive it off into the woods, punch it into a greenside bunker, Fluff it out and make the putt....sign a few hats, kiss a baby and go on to the next hole.
Conversely, when you're missing the 4 footers you can drive it down the middle, hit the green, lag it to 4 ft and miss the fucker for a bogey.
Very true. However I shouldn't complain I maybe go out 4-5 times a year if I'm lucky.... Driving usually is pretty decent then f up 2nd shot, decent chip (after finding ball in woods) and then 3 putt
As long as you have fun at the level you play, who's better than you?
My initial goal here will be to break 80. It might take me most of the summer to learn the place but it's realistic.
hahaha that's the thing, sometimes I just don't give a Sh&t and other times I get so pissed... Usually when I play with my brother in law (scratch golfer)... For once I would like to just come close to him for a round... But like he says, practice, practice, practice
A friend of mine belongs there, I've played it a couple times, nice course, nice facility. It's built on a hill with a great view of the Boston skyline. This is the course I would LOVE to get into but absolutely no way I would be able too, let alone afford it

My son used to work at the bar at the Boston Golf Club. He told me some stories about the muckity mucks that belong there. Big time money there. Brady's dad belongs there and he'd bring Tom along once in a while. Sean McDonough belongs, heavy drinker, he'd call the bar from the course, ask my son to bring him two drinks, when he got out there he'd tell him the second one was for him. He'd sit at the bar for hours, shooting the shit.

I thought I posted some pics the other day but now I don't see 'em.
This is the first tee at WCC....you can see it's no place for a slicer.
