Something about that AA pitching. Ruf got 38 homers off them. Then his power got abused by AAA fastballs this year. He'll be interesting to follow. I'd still love to see what he'd do up here.

i'd love to see both him and asche up here this season. put one of them at 2nd base. get some good relief pitching prospects in return for utley and m. young.

at least franco should get the bump at AAA to replace asche if they call him up soon. but, never know with the phils. somehow, neither will happen.

franco tonight finished 3 for 4 with a double, a walk and an rbi...now batting .382 with a 1.015 OPS after 131 at bats in Reading. Asche is hitting .294 after tonight's 1 for 4 performance with a 3-run HR and a walk.
