How is it compared to NCAA 12 this year? It's hard to see Madden being better after the on field changes to NCAA. That and recruiting is a lot more fun than free agency and the draft still.

Future round picks from the following year are allowed and they have a scouting combine and they upgraded it with roster cuts so you can have 80 guys on the roster at first. They made some good changes as far as Franchise Mode is concerned, but the game play doesn't seem to be that great.

I picked up a copy yesterday. Went to play it, and it says dic error. I was on the fence about getting it... flipped a coin and the coin said to buy it. But now my playstation is saying, "what the fuck were you thinking?!" and wont let me play. So the fates said yes... and then no.... I could return it for my money back or just a new copy.... what do????

I haven't really been big on Madden since like 08' when they changed the ps3 controls to a more xbox style. But I really like this game. WAY better than 11. You can actually throw deep balls and randy moss isn't the only one who can catch them. Running game is easier. Pass rush is easier.

haven't played madden since 09. I just got tired of paying money for a cookie cutter game with slightly better graphics and a roster update each year.

I find my pass rush is weaker than before....

tough to get a grip on the on field adjustments such as line shifts, def player role, coverage etc......

just need a few more games before i challenge the world jeje...

Yea pre-snap controls make all the difference. With pass rush it's all about who you're coming with. I use the steelers a lot and Aaron Smith is terrible at pass rush coming out of the basic 3-4. But on passing downs I run a 2-4-5 nickel D and rush with Woodley. He is a beast in this game. So is Clay Matthews.

thats the worst part of the game. Trying to adjust players. Its new, harder to use. Dont like it at all. Prob just need to get used to it.

Does anyone know if there is a way in the settings to make it so that you can have the madden 11 preplay layout where you only have to click one or two buttons to make a change?

I just exchanged my copy for a second copy because of the disc error... and the new one says the same thing. I guess I can't play madden on my PS3. They should give me my money back for the game plus the money for gas I had to spend to go to the store twice, and now a 3rd time.

That's a bit strange, did you mod it?

Nope... just took it out of the package. It plays the intro, but then when it gets to the loading screen where Rodgers is diving for the endzone it says disc error. Pretty annoying though.

Very...I've never had that happen. Much less with two discs.
