Canucks' Roberto Luongo to 99.3 The Fox in Vancouver on Chelsea Dagger: "I like that song. It's catchy. I heard it seven times in one game"
@BradZiemer
Luongo is off to solid start at WSOP main event. Started with 30,000 chips, now up to 48,000.
@PanthersYormark: On the road again this week. Heading to vegas for a very important dinner on monday night.

lol, what would they need to talk about?
Yomark: Lou, do you really wanna play here?
Luongo: Fuck yeah, never really wanted to leave. I was traded.
Yomark: This probably could have been done over the phone.
When commiting 11 years $47M with a rumour of that player having a retirement plan 5 to 6 years into that deal I think the guy who is top dog in the agency would need to meet face to face if they get 5 yrs out of Lou and markstrom learns from him to take over its worth giving up a solid prospect but he needs to know his headspace a phone call may not be enough
Ah, good call. I didn't think about the Markstrom angle. That kid looks legit. I guess I kind of assumed the retire early thing as a given (which is probably a bad assumption on my part).
I didn't know much about Markstrom until the luongo rumours came up. reports say he is the best goalie prospect in the NHL so Im sure they would be more excited to have a Luongo showing him than a Theodore or Clemmenson. at least IMO. Lots of complaints about Luongo for sure but his preparation, commitment, fitness and training are top of the league that pays off for young players.
