I just went from wanting to shoot my brains out to actually feeling a huge sigh of relief.

The guy who picked all 68 teams 100% perfect last year says a 10-8 Nebraska team with 1 win in the tourney would likely make it.

He also says an 11-7 Nebraska team with no wins in the tourney would likely make it.

But damn I was pissed after that game. Still am pissed. I hate when nothing goes our way and we don't do anything to help it.

But when Lunardi says we can make it, seriously that is all it takes to make me happy. I'm just glad he finally gave us some recognition.

Bottom line is, you can be pissed after that loss. But don't give up on this team. That's a Jaysker move. I had friends do it tonight even. Fuck them. I still love my Huskers 365 days a year

Just don't stress yourself out with expectations. The Huskers still need to get to 20 wins. That's 4 more with only 3 games left in the regular season. Not impossible. but a difficult task for sure.

The critics are somewhat right about Nebraska. They don't have any high profile OOC wins (too late for that now). Georgia is the best win. They have a bad loss in UAB. Some of their losses were by big margins.

They got a late start to winning which is not a poor reflection on Miles, the players, or the program in only their 2nd year. That they've been winning the 2nd half of the season is a sign of good things to come next year. They should get off to a much better start.

I don't doubt the Huskers could beat probably 20% of the teams that will make the NCAA tournament. Especially the auto-bids from the smaller conferences.

Historically, if you have a winning record in the B1G conference play you get in.

A .500 record puts you on bubble.

That is advantage of playing in the best college B-ball conference. I guess you could say the B1G is the SEC on college basketball?
