It happened immediately after the hit. His teammates didn't have a chance to respond yet. Miller could have responded by, you know, stopping the puck.

Reporters asked for his opinion about how the Flyers players were complaining, and he said that he could complain as well about some of the stuff that was going on, but he didn't.

After that, he then proceeded to say what those things were.

If the Flyers players didn't bitch first, Ruff wouldn't have said a thing in that situation.

Well fo course he is not going to say something to the media right after they ask him how he feels about the Flyers. Wouldnt make a ton of sense to complain about the Flyers and directly afterwards complain. The series went 7 games, he didnt do it right away

Miller hasn't been doing much of that lately. Frustration won out. It happens. Lucic is fine so no damage done. A penalty should have been called, but I guess there were a bunch of blind mice officiating the game just like the old days.

Sabres had plenty of time to respond to the hit, they didn't.

And Miller was doing a great job stopping the puck up till the point he was laid out with a cheap shot.

The injury prevented him from being able to play at 100%, that's why he didn't start the 3rd period.

I have no excuse for Enroth's performance however.

Let's see if Shannahan does anything. Miller's a decent guy, and like you said, it was out of frustration in the spur of the moment, so I wouldn't expect a suspension, but I think he should be fined. There's no place in hockey for that shit, no matter what the circumstances.

The slash happened immediately after Lucic hit him and there were no Sabres in the immediate area, so there goes that excuse. Now the fact that no Sabres player did anything when they got there or later in the game is inexcusable. You can bet one or any of Thornton, Campbell, McQuaid would have made it known they were not pleased if it happened to their goalie.
