On another note, I went to a poker game last night at a friends cousins house. You guys would cream your jeans if you saw the man cave this guy had. All kinds of hockey paraphernalia. Awesome Bruins pics, sticks, autographed jerseys on the wall, and 3 for real goalie masks (the guy has played goalie for years). Multiple high def tv's too!!! Also, I have to mention the bar with a marble top.

No hate, but to bitch and moan after the swipe he took after the hit is pathetic. Why was there no slashing call with intent to injure? Personally, I think ANY goalie who leaves the crease to play the puck should be fair game. the rule is bullshit. Goalies have more protective gear than anyone else on the ice.

To be fair, Miller wouldn't have a reason to bitch and moan if Lucic didn't decide to be a little bitch and take a run at him intentionally.

Miller never expected that he would get hit because of the rules in place, so the hit was magnified as Miller didn't try to protect himself.

If you read my previous post, I said it wasn't the right thing to do, but I also can understand why he tried to do it.

My point is he should have been penalized for the swipe but wasn't. I'm pretty sure if he had connected with the swipe, it would have done far more damage than the Lucic hit. Of course, I doubt the league will do anything to Miller.

What's funny is that I see people whine and complain all the time when their goalie gets bumped or hit legally, but Miller is suddenly a pussy because a player decides to target him against the rules of the game.

That's the beauty of being a fan that gets to sit on his couch and say whatever you feel like saying.

It didn't hurt yet he left the game with an upper body injury.

I would love for anyone on here to put on some goalie pads and get someone who is 50 pounds heavier bearing down on them at a high speed hit and you when you aren't expecting it.

The pads cushion the impact of the hit, but he's not wearing a magical suit of fucking armor.

To be honest (I know, REPORTED), I've never complained about my goalie being hit out of his crease when he plays the puck. IMO, they should be fair game when they do.

1) There is no penalty for attempted slashing. Miller's lucky he didn't hit Lucic because the refs, Lucic and Shanahan would have probably laid into him. As it is none of them should.

2) Lucic knew exactly what he was doing. Runs into Miller, extends his arms through the "hit" and then stands there waiting to see what happens. These are the actions of a guy who intentionally made a hit.

3) Miller needs to STFU and stop a few more pucks. Lucic hit you, he got his 2 minutes; end of story. If you don't want to get hit, Ryan, stay in your crease, or better yet play another sport.

Are we sure about this? and actually, it was a slash, it just didn't connect. I'm pretty sure players have been penalized, and even fined, for the same attempted slash b4, but I could be mistaken.
