Wouldn't he have had to be pushed out in order to come back in bounds and re-establish himself? And if he were pushed out while the ball was in the air it would have been interference, no?

I don’t know the rule, so I could be wasting your time, but maybe illegal touching isn’t reviewable and it wasn’t called on the field?

I don’t know, but even if that was incomplete, LSU still has high odds of scoring.

And I don’t feel a bit sorry for Bama since both drives they held LSU to FGs, there were blatant missed calls that would have extended the drives for LSU

If he was pushed out. The ref have to call it on the field, that can’t be overturned from replay. All the WR needed to do is re establish being back on the field which was close

It was called a catch and that is all we need to know.

Alabama made a mistake by not scheduling a tougher OOC schedule. I guess they assumed that the SEC would be good but it has been trash this year outside of Georgia, Florida, Auburn, LSU, and Alabama. Alabama has ran into a tough team and they are not battle-tested or prepared for it.
