Florida State, LSU schedule neutral-site series for 2022, 2023

The Florida State Seminoles and the LSU Tigers have scheduled a neutral-site football series for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, both schools announced on Tuesday.

The Florida State-LSU series will kick off with the two schools playing at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La., on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022. The series will conclude the following season on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.

Per a copy of the participation agreement for the 2022 game in New Orleans obtained from LSU by FBSchedules.com, both LSU and Florida State will each keep an amount equal to $5.1 million if they sell their full allotment of tickets (30,000 per school). Additionally, LSU will be designated the home team.

A copy of the agreement for the 2023 game in Orlando was not immediately available.

Or they could have done something crazy and played in each other’s home stadiums... so stupid.

The only way this could get any better is if they played these two games at stock car tracks.

Not going to lie, that one ya posted hit me good. That shit was funny.

Btw, do we have a perspective date on the annual P5 testy check? I know we have some time but let’s get something going before the summer that way I can see all the excuses from SEC fans and the Clemson lot for a month or so.

I'll post it this coming Monday so I catch all the guys posting from work. I have a gut feeling the Big 12 is going to win it again now that teams like Baylor and Kansas are starting to catch up with the rest of that conference as far as OOC scheduling goes.

Him along with that Michigan St. poster drive me nuts. Every thread I start they're in it posting shit.

Sams pretty levelheaded in my experiences. Rolltide too but seeing him get irritated but the testy thread is excellent.

Yeah but Baylor-Ole Miss ain't at Waco or The Grove That is another neutral site game.

At least Kansas played home and home with BC...if one considers BC any good.

Think we need some expert opinions from Gator fans...

@JuiceTheGator @Gatorchip

Playing in Death Valley suuuucks. That's why UF lost to LSUx this season and will beat them next. Playing at the Clown College ain't fun either.

So, both teams wanted the deal but had weird 3rd party locations thrown-in. The alumni can drink booze, the kids back on campus will get their homework done and it'll all be good.

CFB separates itself from the actual universities a little more each season...farm league coming.

Southern teams should just do away with their home stadiums seeing how they hate them along with the college football atmosphere. Maybe they could start a semi pro league.

The most bad games of all time were home/home series.

Hope that helped.
